Baseball Recap: Hatton Comes Up Short

Hatton came into this matchup off a tough ten-run loss on Monday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Brewer Patriots by a score of 6-4 on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Hornets have suffered since March 25th.

Hatton saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ian Crosslin, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI. Another was Bryson Jeffreys, who scored a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Hatton has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 12 of their last 13 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-19 record this season. As for Brewer, with the win, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 12-18.

As of now, neither Hatton nor the Patriots have any future games scheduled.
