Basketball Recap: Powers Takes a Loss

Powers was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They took a blow against the Elkton Elks, falling 48-16. The matchup marked the Cruisers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Powers' defeat dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Elkton, they now have a winning record of 11-10.

While Powers had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
