 Lloyd Memorial is 0-3 against Boone County since March of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit  on Saturday. The Lloyd Memorial Juggernauts will head out on the road to  take on  the Boone County Rebels at 10:00  a.m. Lloyd Memorial will be strutting in after a  win while Boone County will be coming in after a  defeat.
 Lloyd Memorial took a loss when they played away from home  on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed  on Wednesday. They never let Ludlow onto the board and left with  a   14-0  victory.
  Layla Laudick made a splash while hitting and pitching. She  didn't allow a single  earned run and  only one  hit while striking out eight over five innings pitched. Laudick has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  tossed less than six  strikeouts in five consecutive pitching appearances. Laudick was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 1-for-3.
 In other batting news, Lloyd Memorial got a  massive  performance out of  Railynn Brown, who  went 2-for-4 with five  RBI, two  runs,  and a  double. Another player making a difference was  Madysen Godsey, who  scored three  runs while  getting on base  in all four of her plate appearances.
 Boone County lost  17-4 to Simon Kenton on Friday. Boone County has now  taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 Boone County saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Dani Wright, who  went 1-for-2 with a  triple, a  stolen base,  and a  run.
 Lloyd Memorial's win bumped their record up to 11-17. As for Boone County, their loss dropped their record down to 5-16.
 Lloyd Memorial might still be hurting after the  16-1 defeat they got from Boone County  when the teams last played  back in April of 2023. Can Lloyd Memorial avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
