Recap: James Wood vs. Millbrook
Millbrook won the last time they faced James Wood, and things went their way on Friday, too. Millbrook skirted past James Wood 40-37.
Millbrook's offense rushed out of the gates and came up with 28 first-half points. The Colonels countered with 14 points, leaving the score at 28-14 going into the half. Millbrook almost let the contest get away from them in the second half, but they had just enough oomph to take it.
Millbrook's win brought them up to 6-3. James Wood's overall record now falls to an identical 6-3.
Millbrook will take on Culpeper County at 7 p.m. ET on Friday. Unlike Millbrook, Culpeper County will be limping in after taking a loss. As for the Colonels, they will face off against Handley at 1 p.m. ET. The odds don't look promising for the Colonels, but the bigger the opponent is, the harder they fall.
