Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Mountain View walked away with it. Everything went their way against the Alhambra Lions on Tuesday as they made off with a 3-0 win. The victory was nothing new for the Mountain Lions as they're now sitting on five straight.

While Mountain View won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-22, 25-13.

Bryant Sorensen paced Mountain View's offense, picking up 14 kills. Sorensen got some help from Chase Reidhead and his 25 assists. Finally, Caleb Pixley kept Mountain View's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.

Mountain View's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-17. As for Alhambra, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-16.

As of now, neither Mountain View nor the Lions have any future games scheduled.
