Baseball Recap: Siloam Springs Takes a Loss

If Siloam Springs was riding high fresh off their 12-3 takedown of Muldrow last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Siloam Springs Panthers fell 6-3 to the Greenland Pirates on Monday. The loss was the Panthers' first of the season.

Siloam Springs saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jacob Davis, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Having lost for the first time this season, Siloam Springs fell to 2-1. As for Greenland, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-1.

Coming up, Siloam Springs will welcome Gentry at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Greenland, they will head out to challenge Northwest Arkansas HomeSchool H at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
