Recap: Spring Creek Spartans vs. Dayton Dust Devils
The Spring Creek Spartans were handed a three-point defeat in their last matchup, but they sure didn't let that happen against the Dayton Dust Devils on Friday. Spring Creek was the clear victor by a 53-30 margin over Dayton. Spring Creek has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 20 points or more this season.
Darren Bylund continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 12 points along with six rebounds and six steals. Another player making a difference was Tayden Francis, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Spring Creek's win bumped their record up to 13-3. As for Dayton, their defeat was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 4-10.
Spring Creek's road trip will continue as they head out to face Fernley at 2:30 p.m. on January 13th. Fernley is coming into the game hot, having won their last eight games. As for Dayton, they will be playing at home against Elko at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
