Soccer Recap: Notre Dame Takes a Loss

After soaring to nine goals the game before, Notre Dame was a bit more limited in their match on Saturday. They lost 3-0 to the Elmira Express. While losing is never fun, Notre Dame can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York soccer rankings (they are ranked 161st, while Elmira are ranked 32nd).

Notre Dame's loss dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Elmira, they pushed their record up to 8-1-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

Looking ahead, Notre Dame will take on Edison at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Elmira, they will square off against Vestal at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
