Basketball Recap: Cleveland Takes a Loss

Cleveland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss dating back to last season. The match between them and the Chief Sealth Seahawks didn't end well, with the Cleveland Eagles falling 59-42. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 58-55 back in November of 2024.

When it comes to explaining why Cleveland lost, don't look at Nolin Purganan. Despite the final result, he posted 13 points. Another player making a difference was JJ Louie, who had eight points.

Cleveland's record is now 0-11. As for Chief Sealth, their win ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-8.

Cleveland will square off against Lincoln at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Chief Sealth, they will challenge Lakeside at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
