Basketball Recap: New London-Spicer Takes a Loss

New London-Spicer was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They lost 74-53 to the Annandale Cardinals. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 345th, while the Cardinals are ranked 144th).

New London-Spicer's defeat dropped their record down to 2-16. As for Annandale, their win bumped their record up to 7-8.

New London-Spicer didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, an 85-75 loss against Dassel-Cokato on the 4th. Annandale has also already played their next game, a 67-57 victory against Foley on the 3rd.
