Liberty came tearing into Thursday's contest with five straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Seymour Indians by a score of 2-0. This was a revenge game for the Eagles: when they faced off against the Indians back in September, they had to take a 2-0 defeat.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Liberty was: they took both sets by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-9, 25-15.

Claire Obert paced Liberty's offense, picking up 12 kills. Obert got some help from Weslee John and her 11 assists.

Liberty's win bumped their record up to 20-9. As for Seymour, their loss was their seventh straight at home, which dropped their record down to 10-20.

Coming up, Liberty will venture away from home to challenge Routt Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Seymour, they will host Pleasant Hill at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
