After flying high against Moline on Tuesday, Quincy came back down to earth. The Blue Devils took a hard 67-48 fall against the O'Fallon Panthers on Friday. The loss was the Blue Devils' first of the season.

When it comes to explaining why Quincy lost, don't look at Jada Brown. Despite the final result, she went 5-for-10 en route to 18 points and five boards. Brown is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as she's posted one of at least 45% in the last 14 games she's played dating back to last season. Khloe Nicholson was another key player, putting up 14 points.

Having lost for the first time this season, Quincy fell to 3-1. As for O'Fallon, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Coming up, Quincy and Lift for Life Academy will face off at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest, having both just played. As for O'Fallon, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Belleville East at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. This will be the Panthers' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
