Pueblo Central is 8-2 against Pueblo East since February of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Pueblo Central Wildcats will square off against the Pueblo East Eagles at 7:30 p.m. Pueblo Central has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

On Tuesday, Pueblo Central didn't have too much trouble with Pueblo County as they won 69-50.

Meanwhile, Pueblo East unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 44-31 hit to the loss column at the hands of Pueblo South. The match marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Pueblo Central will have to keep a close watch on Enzo Pecoraro and Mj Delgado, a pair of players who had a big impact on Pueblo East's prior game. Pecoraro posted seven points along with six boards and three blocks, while Delgado scored nine points. Delgado continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.

Pueblo East's defeat dropped their record down to 10-5. As for Pueblo Central, they now have a winning record of 8-7.

Pueblo Central beat Pueblo East 58-47 in their previous matchup back in February of 2024. Will Pueblo Central repeat their success, or does Pueblo East have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
