Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Ryleigh Wentzel and Addison Gollnick Lead Nation Ford to Victory

Nation Ford waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Indian Land Warriors by a score of 3-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Nation Ford was dominant in they sets they won, taking each by at least 14 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-11, 23-25, 25-10.

Leading Nation Ford to victory were Addison Gollnick and Ryleigh Wentzel. Gollnick had nine digs and four aces, while Wentzel had six digs and three aces. The dominant performance also gave Gollnick a new career-high in assists (five). Ella Coffman also deserves some recognition as she had her first digs of the season.

They weren't the only good servers: Nation Ford was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 25 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Nation Ford's victory bumped their record up to 24-6. As for Indian Land, their loss was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-12.
