Basketball Game Preview: Bishop McNamara Fightin' Irish vs. Winnebago Indians

The Bishop McNamara Fightin' Irish and the Winnebago Indians will face off at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Bishop McNamara is headed into Saturday's game hungry for a win as their strong season has now been derailed by two straight losses. Their2024 ended with a 72-54 defeat against Eastland on Friday. The contest marked the Fightin' Irish's lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Meanwhile, Winnebago came up short against Rock Falls on Friday and fell 72-59.

Bishop McNamara's loss dropped their record down to 12-2. As for Winnebago, they now have a losing record at 5-6.

Bishop McNamara didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Winnebago in their previous matchup back in December of 2021, but they still walked away with a 53-47 victory.
