East lost to Riverton back in September of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Thunderbirds had just enough and edged out the Wolverines 2-1.

Madi Jackson paced East's offense, picking up seven kills. Jackson got some help from Charli Cameron and her 15 assists. Cameron was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

The victory got East back to even at 10-10. As for Riverton, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-14 record this season.

East didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Rawlins on the 27th. As for Riverton, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Rock Springs on the 27th.
