Baseball Game Preview: Windsor Jaguars vs. Ukiah Wildcats

For the first time this season, Windsor will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. A feisty cat fight will be fought as Windsor Jaguars challenge Ukiah Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. They will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

If Windsor beats Ukiah with six runs on Wednesday, it's going to be the team's new lucky number: they've won their past two matches with that exact score. Windsor walked away with a 6-1 win over Rancho Cotate on Friday.

Brandon Curry made a splash no matter where he played. He pitched 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.

Curry wasn't the only one making solid contact as four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Adrian Rosiles, who went 3-for-4 with two RBI. Those three hits gave Rosiles a new career-high. Dylan McFerren also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Meanwhile, Ukiah narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Casa Grande 3-2. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Gauchos recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Brayden Beebe tossed a big game, tossing 4.1 innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Kamble Koch, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Windsor's record now sits at 5-3. As for Ukiah, their record now sits at 7-3.

Windsor skirted past Ukiah 6-4 when the teams last played on Tuesday. Will Windsor repeat their success, or does Ukiah has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
