The Grass Lake Warriors will take on the Michigan Center Cardinals at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The timing isn't great for Grass Lake: they have been struggling with three straight losses at home, while Michigan Center has snatched up four consecutive wins on the road dating back to last season.

Grass Lake came up short against Napoleon on Friday, falling 30-6. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Warriors have suffered against the Pirates since November 4, 2016.

Meanwhile, Michigan Center was not the first on the board last Friday, but they got there more often. They secured a 36-32 W over Leslie. Those 36 points were actually the fewest the Cardinals have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

Michigan Center's win came from a few key players Grass Lake will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Braylon Brown, who picked up 71 receiving yards and one TD, and also rushed for 52 yards and one score. The bulk of those receiving yards came from one huge play: a catch that gained an incredible 64 yards. Hadyn Hinkle was another key player, rushing for 77 yards and one touchdown.

Michigan Center was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 203 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Leslie only rushed for nine.

Michigan Center's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Grass Lake, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.
