Basketball Recap: Allatoona Comes Up Short

After flying high against Woodland last Wednesday, Allatoona came back down to earth. The Allatoona Buccaneers were beaten by the Southeast Whitfield County Raiders 65-31 on Friday. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Buccaneers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 38-36 back in December of 2024.

Allatoona's loss dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Southeast Whitfield County, they moved to 4-12 with that victory, which also ended their five-game losing streak.

Allatoona didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 44-26 win against Praise Academy on the 27th. Southeast Whitfield County has also already played their next game (against Cartersville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
