Softball Recap: Twentynine Palms Takes a Loss

Twentynine Palms lost against Indio on Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Wildcats lost 12-2 to the Rajahs. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Twentynine Palms saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Briana Johnson, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Twentynine Palms' loss dropped their record down to 11-5. As for Indio, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 13-10.

Coincidentally, Twentynine Palms and Indio will both be playing Yucca Valley the next time they take the field. The Wildcats will host the Trojans at 3:15 p.m. on Monday, while the Rajahs will host them at 6:00 p.m. on the 28th.
