Baseball Recap: Owen Takes a Loss

Owen lost against Draughn back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Warhorses fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 7-5. The Warhorses have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jackson Warnock was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3. Gabe Mahar also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Owen's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Draughn, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-5.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Wildcats beat Owen by a score of 11-3 on Friday.
