Baseball Recap: American Takes a Loss

Wednesday just wasn't the day for American's offense. They fell 3-0 to the James Logan Colts on Wednesday. The Eagles have struggled against the Colts recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost meeting.

Eric Keesis spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and two unearned) runs on nine hits and racked up six Ks.

American's loss dropped their record down to 5-17. As for James Logan, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-9.

While American had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
