Volleyball Recap: The Woodlands Takes a Loss

The Woodlands lost against Cathedral Catholic back in August of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Highlanders fell 2-0 to the Dons.

Alexandra ?Sasha? Bespaly paced The Woodlands' offense, picking up six kills. Bespaly got some help from Megan Johnson and her ten assists.

The Woodlands has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season. As for Cathedral Catholic, the victory (which was their 26th in a row dating back to last season) raised their record to 3-0.

The Woodlands didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Eastlake on the 29th. As for Cathedral Catholic, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Dawson on the 29th.
