Soccer Recap: Washington Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Washington can now relate to. They fell just short of the Lowell Cardinals by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. Having soared to a lofty four goals in the game before, the Eagles couldn't push the score so high this time.

Washington's loss dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Lowell, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-3 record this season.

As of now, neither Washington nor Lowell have any future games scheduled.
