Groesbeck and Buffalo are an even 4-4 against one another since March of 2019, but likely not for long. The Goats will face off against the Bison at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Groesbeck is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Fairfield just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They lost 10-3 to the Eagles.

Landrie Pringle made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-4 with one home run. That home run was her first of the season.

Meanwhile, Buffalo came up short against Elkhart on Tuesday, falling 9-1. The Bison have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Buffalo saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ella Ortiz, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.

Buffalo now has a losing record of 11-12. As for Groesbeck, their loss dropped their record down to 9-13.

Groesbeck couldn't quite finish off Buffalo in their previous meeting back in March and fell 18-16. Can the Goats avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
