Flag Football Game Preview: Air Academy Kadets vs. Doherty Spartans + Official Tickets

The Air Academy Kadets will head out on the road to face off against the Doherty Spartans at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Air Academy's defense has only allowed 12.3 points per game this season, so Doherty's offense will have their work cut out for them.

On Monday, Air Academy was able to grind out a solid win over Vista Ridge, taking the game 19-8. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Kadets.

Air Academy found their leader in freshman Nadia Anderson, who threw for 101 yards and three TDs on only eight passes.

Meanwhile, Doherty got the win against Fountain-Fort Carson last Monday by a conclusive 26-6. The result was nothing new for the Spartans, who have now won six contests by 20 points or more so far this season.

Doherty's victory bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Air Academy, their win bumped their record up to 7-3.

Air Academy came up short against Doherty in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, falling 12-6. Can the Kadets avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
