Basketball Recap: Faith Christian Academy Knights vs. St. Joseph D Defenders

The Faith Christian Academy Knights can now show off 12 landslide victories after their most recent game on Friday. They really took it to St. Joseph D for the full four quarters, racking up a 91-29 victory at home. Faith Christian Academy's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Leading Faith Christian Academy to victory were Max McMillen and William Allen. McMillen scored 12 points along with five assists and two steals, while Allen scored 18 points along with two blocks. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Allen has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of John Schleeter, who scored eight points along with seven assists and two steals.

The victory was the seventh in a row for Faith Christian Academy, bringing their record for this year to 20-4. As for St. Joseph D, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Faith Christian Academy will take on the Nighthawks at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in their respective states (Northeast Kansas Nighthawks HomeSchool is ranked 74th in Kansas, while the Knights are ranked 83rd in Missouri). St. Joseph D will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on the Lions at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
