Baseball Recap: Jal Panthers vs. Non Varsity Opponent
Jal was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They wound up on the wrong side of a rough 12-2 walloping at the hands of Non Varsity Opponent. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Jal of the 20-4 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture last Saturday.
Jal saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Adam Juarez, who went 1-for-2 with a stolen base and an RBI.
Jal's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Non Varsity Opponent, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 45-59-3.
