Baseball Recap: Muncy Comes Up Short

If Muncy was feeling good fresh off their 13-3 takedown of Bucktail last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Indians came up short against the Millville Quakers on Tuesday, falling 19-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Indians have suffered against the Quakers since April 23, 2019.

Muncy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3-1. As for Millville, they pushed their record up to 5-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Coming up, Muncy will head out to face off against Bloomsburg at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Indians are facing the Panthers at the right time seeing as the Panthers are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Millville, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Bucktail at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
