The Western Hills Mustangs will head out on the road to square off against the Trotwood-Madison Rams at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Western Hills has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 969 points over their last 14 contests.

Even though Withrow scored an imposing 65 points on Tuesday, Western Hills still came out on top. Western Hills secured a 70-65 W over Withrow. Given Western Hills' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 29th, while Withrow is ranked 285th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Trotwood-Madison entered their tilt with Dunbar with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. Trotwood-Madison managed a 73-68 victory over Dunbar on Saturday. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.

Trotwood-Madison can attribute much of their success to Delamar Blanton, who scored 13 points, and Ja'Carious Reaves, who scored 14 points.

Western Hills' victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-2. As for Trotwood-Madison, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season.

Western Hills was able to grind out a solid victory over Trotwood-Madison in their previous meeting back in January of 2023, winning 78-70. The rematch might be a little tougher for Western Hills since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
