Volleyball Recap: Kingman Takes a Loss

Kingman lost against Southwestern Heights on Saturday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Eagles fell 2-0 to the Mustangs.

While Kingman ultimately came up short, they really made Southwestern Heights work, particularly in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 26-24.

Southwestern Heights can attribute much of their success to Lindanis Puentes, who had seven digs and two aces.

Kingman has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 11 of their last 12 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-15 record this season. As for Southwestern Heights, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-6.

Looking ahead, Kingman will head out to challenge Garden Plain on Tuesday. As for Southwestern Heights, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Medicine Lodge on the 20th.
