Basketball Recap: Bethany Christian Takes a Loss

Bethany Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were dealt a 48-15 loss at the hands of the Central Noble Cougars. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bruins of the 45-5 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in November of 2024.

Ellie Morris was Bethany Christian's leading scorer, having posted six points. Morris also led the team in assists with two. Kendra Kern held things down on the boards with seven rebounds.

Bethany Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Central Noble, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 3-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bethany Christian will square off against Westview at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Central Noble, they will challenge Fremont at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
