Jackson Smith, West Lincoln's leader in runs on the season, led the team again on Tuesday. Nobody could stop Smith as he scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3. West Lincoln is undefeated when Smith posts two or more runs, but 1-12 otherwise.

Smith's strong effort led West Lincoln over Salem and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Bears are 8-2 against the Wildcats going back to April of 2016, a lead they'll look to extend.
