Soccer Recap: Mount Tabor Snags Fourth Win in Last Five Games

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against West Forsyth, Mount Tabor was happy to have turned things around on Monday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Glenn Bobcats a 7-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for Mount Tabor, who have now won five games by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Glenn with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Sophie Wyshner (3), Sloane Whalen (2), Kate Ledgerwood, and Keegan Shaw.

Mount Tabor is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-3-1 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 23 goals over those five contests. As for Glenn, they dropped their record down to 2-9 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home.
