Volleyball Recap: Philo Comes Up Short

Philo lost against Meadowbrook back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Electrics came up short against the Colts, falling 3-0. The Electrics have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The final score came out to 25-10, 25-13, 25-11.

Olivia Fink paced Philo's offense, picking up seven kills. Fink got some help from Halli Harris and her nine assists.

Meadowbrook was led to victory by Journey Nicola and Sommer Ginn. Nicola had 20 digs and two assists, while Ginn had seven digs and four aces. That's the most aces Ginn has posted since back in October of 2024.

Philo now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Meadowbrook, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Philo will challenge rival River View at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Meadowbrook is set to square off against their familiar foe Sheridan at 10:15 a.m. on Saturday.
