Softball Recap: Sierra Vista Dons vs. Nogales Nobles
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Schurr, Sierra Vista was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Nogales Nobles as they made off with a 25-3 win. The Dons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matchups by seven runs or more this season.

Isabella Ortega made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over five innings while giving up three earned runs off ten hits (and not a single walk). She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-5 with three RBI. Those two hits gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, Sierra Vista let Daisy Ovalle and Kayla Iniguez run wild. The Vikings have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.42 runs per game on average), something the Nobles will no doubt try to take advantage of.
