Central Valley Christian can attribute much of their success to Cooper Piepgrass, who had 14 digs and two aces. Piepgrass is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 14 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Piepgrass wasn't the only good servers: Central Valley Christian was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in four consecutive contests.

Meanwhile, Berkeley was able to grind out a solid victory over Windsor on Saturday, taking the game 3-1.

Berkeley had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 14-25, 25-14, 25-23, 25-11.

Berkeley's win bumped their record up to 19-9. As for Central Valley Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 36-6.
