Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Cy-Fair). They blew past the Cypress Ridge Rams 14-0 on Friday. The Bobcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight games by six runs or more this season.

Kathryn Kram was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out ten over five innings pitched. She has been consistent : she hasn't tossed less than ten strikeouts in five consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 1-for-2.

In other batting news, Isabella Rios was a standout: she scored two runs while going 2-for-2. Another player making a difference was Ashlyn McSwain, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

The victory was the third in a row for Cy-Fair, bringing their record up to 14-7. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.0 runs over those games. As for Cypress Ridge, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That lines up perfectly with their 4-12 record this season.
