Soccer Game Preview: St. Mary's vs. Kimball

The St. Mary's Rams are taking a road trip to take on the Kimball Jaguars at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Kimball took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on St. Mary's, who comes in off a win.

St. Mary's took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They came out on top against Tracy by a score of 3-1.

St. Mary's hit Tracy with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Etienne Lopez, Nethan Chudleigh, and Jameson Latour.

Meanwhile, Kimball was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 4-0 to Lodi. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Jaguars haven't been shut out since back in December of 2024.

St. Mary's win bumped their record up to 5-3-1. As for Kimball, their loss dropped their record down to 2-8.

St. Mary's came out on top in a nail-biter against Kimball in their previous matchup on January 9th, sneaking past 2-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for St. Mary's since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
