Basketball Recap: Moran Takes a Loss

Moran was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 44-10 loss at the hands of the Trent Gorillas. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 42-22 last Saturday.

When it comes to explaining why Moran lost, don't look at Cotton Campbell. Despite the final result, he posted eight points.

Moran's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Trent, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-3.

Moran wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 30-13 loss against Lueders-Avoca on the 13th. Trent has also already played their next matchup, a 48-40 win against Paint Creek on the 13th.
