Soccer Game Preview: Prouty vs. West Boylston

The Prouty Panthers are taking a road trip to take on the West Boylston Lions at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

The home team had won the previous four meetings between Prouty and Leicester, and Leicester kept the tradition alive. The Panthers lost 6-0 to the Wolverines on Monday.

Meanwhile, there was early excitement for West Boylston after they claimed the first goal on Thursday, however, they wouldn't score again. They fell 3-1 to Fitchburg.

Prouty's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3-2. As for West Boylston, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4-1.

Prouty came out on top in a nail-biter against West Boylston in their previous meeting back in October of 2023, sneaking past 4-3. Do the Panthers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Lions turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
