After soaring to 35 points the game before, Grand Prairie was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They were dealt a 49-7 loss at the hands of the Arlington Colts. The defeat continues a trend for the Gophers in their meetings with the Colts: they've now lost four in a row.

Grand Prairie's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Arlington, their victory bumped their record up to 5-3.

Looking ahead, Grand Prairie will be playing at home against Lamar at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Gophers will need to watch out since the Vikings have now posted at least 31 points in their last three contests. As for Arlington, they will take on Martin at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
