Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask McComb). They claimed a resounding 74-43 victory over the Vanlue Wildcats. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Panthers have posted against the Wildcats since December 18, 2015.

Despite the loss, Vanlue still got an impressive performance from Owen Roszman, who posted 14 points and five rebounds. Roszman has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last six times he's played. Brady Hamilton was another key player, putting up seven points and three steals.

McComb's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-13. As for Vanlue, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost ten of their last 11 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-14 record this season.

McComb will head out to square off against Liberty-Benton at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Liberty-Benton will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something McComb surely won't give up without a fight. As for Vanlue, they will welcome Leipsic at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Vanlue is facing Leipsic at the right time seeing as Leipsic is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
