Football Recap: Ramona Skates Past San Gorgonio with Ease

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Ramona). They claimed a resounding 36-6 victory over the San Gorgonio Spartans. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Rams considering their 12-point performance the match before.

Despite the loss, San Gorgonio still got an impressive performance from Ava Bogarin, who picked up 104 receiving yards and one score. The Spartans are 2-1 when Bogarin posts 80 or more receiving yards, but 1-3 otherwise.

The win got Ramona back to even at 2-2. As for San Gorgonio, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Ramona will face off against rival JW North at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, San Gorgonio is set to challenge their familiar foe Valley View at 6:15 p.m. on Monday.
