Scituate lost against Exeter-West Greenwich back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Scituate Spartans fell 72-63 to the Exeter-West Greenwich Scarlet Knights. One positive for the Spartans, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Several Spartans players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ryan Larsh, who shot 4-for-6 from deep and dropped a double-double on 19 points and ten boards. Andy Vigeant was another key player, going 6 for 8 from beyond the arc on his way to 20 points.

Scituate has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season. As for Exeter-West Greenwich, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-1.

Scituate will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Paul Cuffee at 7:00 p.m. Scituate is facing Paul Cuffee at the right time seeing as Paul Cuffee is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Exeter-West Greenwich, they will head out on the road to face off against Middletown at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Exeter-West Greenwich has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 195 points over their last three games.
