Taylor is a perfect 4-0 against Inter-City Baptist since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Griffins are taking a road trip to face off against the Chargers at 11:00 a.m. Taylor has given up an average of 9.4 runs per game this season, but Saturday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Taylor is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 11 runs on Monday, they were much more limited against Carlson on Thursday. They came up short against the Marauders, falling 17-1.

Taylor saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Abby Smolenski ?28, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases. Those stolen bases marked the first that Smolenski ?28 has snagged this season.

Meanwhile, Inter-City Baptist lost 14-1 to Lutheran Northwest on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Chargers in their meetings with the Crusaders: they've now lost four in a row.

Inter-City Baptist's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Taylor, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Everything went Taylor's way against Inter-City Baptist in their previous matchup back in April of 2022, as Taylor made off with a 17-7 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Griffins since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
