Basketball Recap: Omirrah Gray Key Part of a Team Effort in Patriots Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Broadneck, Old Mill was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They managed a 43-37 victory over the Severn Run Wolves. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 60-41 back in December of 2024.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Old Mill to victory, but perhaps none more so than Omirrah Gray, who posted 15 points. Gray continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Jemirah Brown, who earned 12 points and seven rebounds.

Old Mill smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've managed all season.

Old Mill's record now sits at 9-7. As for Severn Run, they dropped their record down to 1-9 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Old Mill will take on Crofton at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Severn Run, they will host Broadneck at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
