Baseball Game Preview: Dayton Greendevils vs. Highlands Bluebirds

Dayton hasn't had much luck against Highlands recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Greendevils will be playing in front of their home fans against the Bluebirds at 5:00 p.m. Dayton has given up an average of 12.7 runs per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Dayton lost 17-1 to Newport Central Catholic on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Highlands came up short against Scott on Tuesday and fell 12-9.

Jaxon Roderick made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and one double. That home run marked the first that he has launched this season. Kai Anderson was another key player, going 1-for-4 with one home run and two RBI.

Dayton's loss dropped their record down to 2-17-1. As for Highlands, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-9.
