Basketball Game Preview: Bluffton Tigers vs. Southern Wells Raiders

Bluffton has gone 9-1 against Southern Wells recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Tigers will host the Raiders at 7:30 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Bluffton comes in on five and Southern Wells on six.

Bluffton is headed into the matchup after thoroughly thrashing Blackford: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Tigers blew the Bruins out of the water with a 74-32 final score. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 31 points or more this season.

Bluffton's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Carlee Strunk led the charge by shooting 67% from the field en route to 22 points and four steals. Thanks to that strong game, Strunk now owns an excellent 48% field goal percentage. Khloe Dick was another key player, going 8-for-13 on her way to 20 points and five steals.

Meanwhile, Southern Wells strolled past Muncie Burris with points to spare on Wednesday, taking the game 50-35.

Bluffton's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Southern Wells, their win bumped their record up to 6-1.

Everything came up roses for Bluffton against Southern Wells in their previous matchup back in January, as the team secured an 84-31 victory. In that contest, the Tigers amassed a halftime lead of 47-19, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Saturday.
