Baseball Recap: Cosby Comes Up Short

Cosby was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Washburn Pirates, falling 18-1. Unfortunately, that's the fourth time they've come up short against the Pirates this season, with their most recent loss being a 21-3 defeat on Monday.

Cosby's loss dropped their record down to 4-21-1. As for Washburn, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-10-1 record this season.

As of now, neither Cosby nor Washburn have any future games scheduled.
